I was told I would be paid to train at the local warehouse before leaving for a month long training. I trained from Monday to Friday under an egotistical jerk who was very condescending. I was to work a partial day on Friday because I was leaving on Sunday for training. My shift was supposed to end at 12:00 pm on that Friday. This clown waits until 11:00 am Friday and comes out of no where to say I don’t think you’re going to cut it at training and that was it. I wondered why he ignored me earlier that morning when I mentioned something about pay but it made sense after I left. Now, I’m about to have to hire an attorney because I wasn’t paid for the week of training as promised. Very shady practices and from what I read on line, they have a history of it. Tried to reach out to upper management to resolve the problem but of course crickets. They settled a class action law suit recently and it seems they have no problem showing this type of behavior.
