Pros
Opportunities to try new things and learn new skills in the field on a daily basis. Friendly work environment and people are willing to teach you. Definitely an opportunity to be able to learn equipment as a ground guy if you have the right field managers or superintendents.
Cons
Some foremen's and superintendents restrict growth. Lots of favoritism on who gets to try what and learn new things such as getting on equipment or taking the manager route. Tell you what you wanna hear and not what you want to happen.
