Conversations with senior and executive leadership are very much patient-centered.
Cons
Tensions between the parent organization, a health insurer, and the very local culture of many of the individual network hospitals result in some dysfunction. Optimal business decisions often are in conflict with local culture and the payer side influence definitely impacts operations. It often feels like many people are wearing multiple hats and it's difficult to determine which hat they are wearing during any given decision. Many systems remain fragmented, especially those related to technology adoption and human resources.
