The environment has a strong emphasis on patient care - if this is what you are looking for I think it is hard to find a health system that will focus on this more. Salaries are generally consistent and predictable. The health insurance offered is excellent. There are opportunities for advancement depending on your role and current level.
Cons
Salaries are consistent and predictable - meaning that there isn't a lot of room for adjustment if you do not believe you are being compensated appropriately. Things tends to be more gray rather than black and white with a lot of wiggle room. If you are looking for a highly structured healthcare environment this may not be for you.
