Pros
If you look at the staffing industry nowadays, it doesn't have the best of names. Allegis is one of the companies that actually has customer/consultant focus as a core value. Besides that, you develop a lot of professional and marketable skills while dealing with big and exciting customers and learn a lot about business politics. Great family feeling and good appraisal of performance and excellence. A company you can be proud of to work for.
Cons
Within the pro's lie a lot of cons as well. Besides the fact that commissions are quite poor, there is disregard for the employees by senior management in communication and back-office professionalism, a lot of this lack has to be compensated by the salespeople which derives them from their jobs and duties. Also commitment and agreements about processes are not met by senior management. You can notice that only people <30 work at the company, why? It's a good step-up that teaches you a lot about business and doing proper business, after that, you move on when you start to get aggravated by the lack of professionalism of the internal processes.
