Pros
-Met good people, some of them I am still in contact with. -Allegis Group gave me my chance although I had never done recruitment before, originally it was on a 3 months contract, and they extended it a first time, then a second time, until they gave me the opportunity to move from London to Paris on a permanent contract. -Great sales culture in the UK. -Opportunity to make a lot of money with hard work.
Cons
-Was a lot different when I started in Paris. At first I liked it (made my first deal 3 days after my arrival in Paris and everyone cheered at me, congratulated me), but I quickly realised that the mentality in the Paris office was quite different to the one I experienced while in London. In London, I felt like I had a team ready to support me, in Paris I felt like I was all alone against 40 50 sales people. -No real training in place in Paris. -Very stressful. -Favoritism
