      Pros

      Rewarding experience working with the clients, a majority of the time not a stressful working environment, co-workers are very nice, and management is understanding/flexible.

      Cons

      When employees call out you often times have to fill in for them because of the limited number of staff members and some of the clients can, unfortunately, be behavioral.

      Pros

      Establishing bonds with the students and co-workers. The satisfaction of participating in students' progress and behavioral changes. Getting to know the students' families.

      Cons

      No salary scale, so each TOSD made a widely different salary. Oftentimes, short-staffed and no period scheduled for paperwork, so I spent a decent amount of time writing IEPs, lesson plans, programming, and creating materials at home.
