Pros
Great People, Great Benefits. Will work with you on shift/time changes if needed.
Cons
The company itself does not care about their call center or their employees. They are only interested in saving money vs having loyal employees who care about their customers. I worked for the company for over 10 years and in Dec 2024 Alliant Energy sent the call center an email stating in 5 days the call center is no longer going to be employed by Alliant Energy and will be transferring their employment to a contracted company who knows nothing of what Alliant Energy call center agents does and that does not even reside in the same state we service in. With this transfer, the call center employees lost our benefits which included mental health care, good health dental vision and resources for additional health help- to be only offered a crap insurance with the new company that requires most health visits an upfront payment that may or may not get reimbursed by the insurance company. For all the other departments that are still employed by Alliant Energy this clearly shows that Alliant Energy does not care about its employees, and they will pawn you off to any random company to save money.
