Pros

Remote work, Monday- Friday work schedule

Cons

Poor management and poor processes and procedures, there is instability because of the constant changes with the procedures. The most important and above all is the lack of pay. They under pay the lower level positions who hold the most weight with the success and work load of the company. The yearly raises are pathetic, and they do not provide a base pay salary adjustment like they should, and if they do it’s very low, it is almost the same as their poorly given yearly raises. Also if you work remote they do not compensate for any monthly reimbursement for your internet etc. Micromanaging when it comes to dropping on bombs on you when someone calls out. Not a whole lot of support in a new position, throwing you into tasks things so quickly and then when u ask questions all they want to say is check the procedures when there are so many versions of procedures it could take 30+1hr or more finding your answer. They do not show any appreciation what so ever amongst the team other than a ‘good job’. Favoritism is amongst the teams no matter what dept you are in. With the EPC team specifically they do not nominate anyone for true blue awards which gives the employee an extra incentive for their hard work. If you work remote they never send any appreciation efforts but they always have little surprises for the in office employees like lunch, gifts, etc. Remote employees work just as hard if not harder than the staff in office. A little appreciation goes a long way and the lack of effort is astonishing.

Pros

The juror is still out on this questions.

Cons

Compensation was among the lowest in the industry, which does not align with the level of performance and pressure expected by employees. Micro managing at it's FINEST. This workplace had a sweatshop-like environment. I can't make this stuff up. Metrics were prioritized over people. Supervisors were cliquish, unprofessional and often lacked the knowledge to properly support their teams- frequently needing to ask other supervisors or managers for basic answers. There was zero flexibility on calls; despite having a hold function we were chastise during 1/1 meetings and discouraged from using it and force to use the mute button because metrics is important. IYKYK. On top of that, systems issues were frequent and made it difficult to meet those good ole metrics. The whole environment was TOXIC. Tread lightly and think long and hard before working for this establishment. You've been warned.
