Pros
This job gave me an amazing foundation of knowledge to take with me for my future career. I now feel comfortable managing projects, interacting with clients, and keeping tight deadlines. I really appreciated the opportunity to take on new responsibilities. I started out assisting with Sales and Marketing, and as I learned and contributed more to the team, I was able to take on and manage projects of my own. This job pushed me to work more efficiently, be more mindful and anticipate what a client or management might need, and to be independent in managing my work. Management gave me the tools and guidance I needed in order to be successful. Working here was incredibly rewarding because, at the end of the day, I was given the opportunity to make a real impact. Everyone here is really dedicated to the work that they are doing. It was refreshing to work with people that really believe in their products and truly care about their clients. When I decided to get a graduate degree, management was really flexible with me and willing to accommodate my schedule. Even when I cut down my hours, everyone still made me feel like a valued member of the team.
Cons
If you have a hard time accepting criticism or don't like it when people are straightforward, then you could have a hard time adjusting. Management invests in their employees and will want you to succeed at the highest level that you can. This means that they will let you know when you are doing something incorrectly and will give you straightforward feedback.
