Pros
Good salary, great compensation and benefits, excellent team spirit and all direct team managers are very considerate towards team members. Everyone is encouraged to openness in team work. Great place to take up challenges. The company treats well the employees it lays off and provides support in their career transitioning.
Cons
Every 12-18 months for the 10 years that I worked at Allscripts, there was a "rationalized" layoff. Many of the people I knew were very competent, useful and productive at the tasks they were assigned. Some were offered an opportunity to keep working at the company, some not.
