Pros
Really great hires all around. Odds are your peers will be smart, creative, kind, engaging people. Workaholism was generally self-driven. The culture encourged people to leave by 5PM, or even sooner if you had to pick up kids from school, etc.
Cons
Growth paths are limited. I saw a lot of people have to leave the company to seek advancement, and we lost a lot of institutional knowledge and carefully nurtured talent as a result.
