Pros
Alpha is a great place for anyone looking to work in human services or a nonprofit. There is a lot of room for mobility within the company - many people have held multiple positions and it is generally encouraged for people to explore new positions that are of interest to them. On the whole, most people here are VERY kind and extremely dedicated to their work. Meeting the clients (people who have developmental disabilities) and getting to know them is the best part of working here. You will also get to work with a very culturally diverse range of people.
Cons
Certain members of leadership are extremely unprofessional and will negatively gossip openly in the office about their own employees, which was very shocking. Like, they will waltz around the office and openly criticize their employee who is elsewhere in the building. Like I said - most people here are wonderful, but some leadership are very toxic and need to be reevaluated for their capability to manage people.
