Pros
Not much, honestly. Small team of 6 people, decent variety of work, and okay hours.
Cons
Pay was insulting low for doing 2 roles but I gave it a shot anyway, number of programs to be used on 1 job was beyond redundant and wasted a ton of time and money and caused additional confusion. 1/2 of the other programs were just ridiculous and made very little difference in print quality. On top of that I received no time off for being a new full time employee, and print manager had a major ego and acted like he owned the place and got impatient with everything and everyone, constantly gave everyone major attitude depending on mood. I was told that I would be given time and assistance to learn and adjust to the new job (due to me being a slow learner, and having to learn multiple new programs/processes that were not listed in the job-post, and the fact I was being made to do multiple roles) by both the print and production managers who assured me up and down things would work out. But they ended up completely lying to my face and then cowardly laid me off by leaving early and having their higher-up do the dirty work for them without so much as a conversation or talking to me at all, or giving me time to look elsewhere. Unbelievable. Instead both of them thought is was completely acceptable to side-blind me with zero respect or human decency and their reasoning was insanely hypocritical that I told the hire up that I had physical watch identical mistakes be made on their end when they tried showing me the correct way. It was a complete joke. Long story short, do not apply here. You are underpaid and basically a scapegoat for every issue that arrises. The managers there act like they care but its all complete and utter garbage. I was appalled by their lack of patience and basic professionalism. They made judgments and calls and only a few were actually accurate. They rest they turned a blind eye to and didn’t really care about my outcome.
