Thanks for the review! You're right, all our employees are highly driven to succeed, which is why it is imperative for us to ensure we invest in our them and give them the responsibility and autonomy early on. The Associate role involves intense, high-frequency project work. Repetition is critical to learning and improving in any domain (professional, sports, music etc.) – it takes hours and practice to get good at something. Our managers are young, and this is why top-tier talent joins AlphaSights. We offer people the chance to manage a team within two years; this requires jumping in at the deep end and learning on the job. - Sincerely, Dominique, SVP Europe

Pros

Rapid Progression & Recognition: Performance is directly rewarded here. If you hit your goals and show drive, the path to promotion and career growth is transparent and fast. Strong Team Culture: The team energy is fantastic. Everyone is highly collaborative, supportive, and commercially minded, which makes for a great working environment. High Autonomy: From day one, you are given real ownership over your projects (like leading recruitment events, managing candidates, and driving partnerships), allowing you to grow your commercial skills rapidly.

Cons

High Velocity & Pressure: The work is very fast-paced with strict timelines and high-volume expectations. It is not a place where you can coast, and you need to be comfortable working under commercial pressure. Resilience is Key: Sourcing and recruiting require a great deal of resilience. You have to be comfortable with rejection and persistent in finding creative solutions to hit your targets.
