A great place to work that pays poorly. - PC Support Specialist Alpine Bank Employee Review

Pros

Banking hours: never work on a Sunday and eat dinner at home every night. The people you work with are, with very few exceptions, excellent people. This is not a grouchy workplace. People stick up for each other, are genuinely caring and loving toward each other. I've seen several people cry when leaving because of the deep friendships developed here.

Cons

The benefits, historically excellent, have trended past mediocre and well into poor over the last few years. The average insurance cost for an Alpine Bank employee is $680 every month. Insurance for me, my wife, and my son amount to 31.4% of my gross income.
