Pros

Unless you go to California weekends off mostly (great home time), you can talk to transportation staff like a friend, always busy lots of hours

Cons

You don't know what your doing till the night before, California drivers get a pump pallet jack instead of a Electric Pallet Jack, I personally believe no driver should make under $30/hr

Pros

It's a job, not a career.

Cons

Management is horrible !! There will be NO good job or compliments given. HR is clueless and NOT your friend or there for you as an employee when you need them to be the most. If you have issues with another employee, it gets swiftly swept under the rug with an "investigation", there's no follow-up or follow through. Any positive changes or suggestions. Either don't happen or take months to implement and your veiwed as a very opinioned employee which is "unacceptable." The day clerk is unprofessional and abusive and suffers "little man syndrome" but is very protected by management. The Handbook, throw it out its not followed unless they want to fire you. Drivers I worked into the ground, and they can't keep warehouse employees. I wonder if that has to do with bad management. My opinion is this company is better off without you. I would suggest looking anywhere else. Also, you have a 100 % chance of them fighting any unemployment claim regardless of the reason.
