Getting termed was the best thing to happen - Business Analyst Alta Resources Employee Review

I started out low balled with the pay. Stuck around for long enough to get experience in my field, but was forced to stay because of a very odd circumstance, then as I was about to leave in '08 the bottom fell out. Was forced to report to two managers, do double the work, no raise. Long story short, I wasn't able to make both happy, and was let go because of it. Best thing that happened, next job I got a 50% raise, and every manager since has given glowing reviews and recommendations. I should have left far earlier, but I literally couldn't.
