Pros
Plenty of opportunities to work overtime due to the organization being short-staffed and unaware of the present workload on the floor (physicians, lab staff and phlebotomists)
Cons
-Salary is not competitive relative to the market standard, identical job positions are paying 1.5-2x at half the stress -No opportunity for growth, admin already knows who they would like to fill vacant positions with and historically it has been family members of admin who were not previously at the company or have no experience in the subject-matter -Large proportion of staff under the age of 30 who believe the workplace is a hotspot to date other coworkers and dispose affection during work hours, often in front of patients -Ambitious project managers who bring in a plethora of projects without considering lab/phleb staffing and resources leading to strain on all employees -haphazard protocols and procedures that would raise many questions from regulatory agencies -rude administration that cannot handle being spoken to despite being asked study relevant questions -it is rare to experience a day in which someone is not being aggressively yelled at by coordinators or administration
