Pros
Altec truly is an industry leader and is always looking to innovate their product and process, which is great no mater what your job inside the company is. The pay is very good pay and the benefits are probably the best that I will ever have. Altec is big on having a team, even a family type, atmosphere. They take care of their employees and treat them well. Being family owned by the same family going on now for 87+ years is something really special. I left mainly to be closer to family but this is definitely a company you can spend a lifetime with, as many have. I could really go on and on.
Cons
Sometimes requires long hours and the occasional Saturday. Constant push for excellence means standards constantly change which can become frustrating, especially when it causes the longer hours, even when in the long run it's for the better.
