Pros
The only strength that I recognise within the organisation pertains to the product offerings and existing customers using this product
Cons
After a tenure of approximately two years with the company, I am compelled to provide my assessment of the organisation. A pivotal moment occurred when the company acquired Trifacta. Regrettably, following this acquisition, the leadership appeared to prioritise the assimilation of technology at the expense of showing no degree of concern for the acquired customers that accompanied the acquisition and the employees. It is my sincere hope that the company would have invested in the development and support of its acquired employees, affording them opportunities to prove their worth. Unfortunately, similar to the manner in which they treated their customers, the company did not exhibit a corresponding level of concern for its employees, resulting in several layoffs. A concerning instance was the termination of approximately 15% of the workforce, with a significant portion hailing from Trifacta. The decision-making process for these layoffs seemed to lack transparency, appearing to be influenced by letting go of acquired employees rather than sound, reasoned judgment. Consequently, the organisation appears to lack stability, with the year 2023 marked by uncertainty regarding continued employment and employee mental health. There appears to be a disconnect between this rhetoric and the actual practices and support provided.
