Pros

Work/life balance, benefits, flexibility. It's a great way to get your foot in the door for medical sales. Stay for 1 year or less and find better opportunities elsewhere. Your RSM will be very nice and offer help.

Cons

Unethical billing practices: Patients won't be informed that insurance will not cover the device and supplies until they already owe the company money. Constantly bill insurance for supplies that the patients don't need. Patient Support won't be transparent with how the billing process works which leaves the TM responsible for cleaning up the mess. Poor training: Training is not very thorough or helpful and done entirely through Zoom. They throw you in the water and it's either sink or swim. Only a small portion or your orders are completed, even after they "put more focus" on getting orders completed, which means you aren't making money for incomplete orders. I could keep going but there is no point. Get some experience if you are new to the industry, find a better opportunity and don't look back.

Altivera Medical Response

Hi - thanks for leaving us a review. While this feedback is difficult to receive, it is also valuable feedback we'll examine internally. It seems most of your concerns are regarding billing, which is certainly a complicated issue to navigate. We recommend to all patients concerned about coverage to contact their insurance directly and inquire about potential device coverage. However, even the insurances themselves won't be able to tell patients how much of the device will be covered before the device is shipped and claim is made. In regards to your comment about order completion: over 80% of orders through commercial insurance are completed for patients and their sales reps. The orders that are more difficult to obtain coverage for are Medicare and Medicaid, which is a concern that is not exclusive to Zynex. However, unlike other device companies, we still work with all patients covered by Medicare and Medicaid as all patients in pain deserve pain management treatment. Best of luck in your future endeavors and thank you again for the feedback!

Pros

Have significantly turned things around within less than a year allowing insurances companies to trust us again. It was a big task and it was successful. Congrats!

Cons

The company hasn't ironed out their new processes which is okay, the company is starting over. Although, it is to a point where I constantly get angry calls from clinics where they tell us that Altivera/Zynex is awful and has awful customer service. From what I have gathered, it has nothing to do with the people that work there but it does have everything to do with the CONSTANT change in process. Every clinic is confused why we aren't doing it "the old way" (communicating with clinics about what is needed). Now when we receive invalid prescriptions we don't even communicate that with the patient OR the clinic anymore. Nothing against the Sales Reps, they are awesome. Having the Sales Reps do everything seems impractical and it has effected Altivera's efficiency and likely customer and clinic's satisfaction. Altivera Medical just got rid of the department that speaks with clinics, our sales operations team. I am not excited to see how much our customer service and clinic communication worsens, now.
