Pros
Not using your vehicle, W2 job with insurance available
Cons
- Drivers get shorted on OT pay below time and a half, since hourly rates range from $12-$24/hour they aggregate the hourly rate, while the highest hourly rates are only available at the end of the week. - Company steals tips from drivers; doesn't allow for customers to tip on the credit card, but then adds an 18% surcharge to the customer saying that is for driver pay and benefits while fares are twice the cost of other rideshares. - Schedules are released about 24-48 hours prior to the start of the week, making it hard to plan personal appointments. They set schedules so that the higher paid shifts are minimized. Working a schedule of 50 hours/week only nets out to less than $17/hour.
