Pros

Growth opportunities in the core job areas of sales, parts, and service. A lot of back filled positions are hired within. Employees are passionate about the work they are doing.

Cons

If you are not a core part of their business model and in the auxiliary departments necessary for the internal side of business you are not nearly as valued. Pay mirrors the importance they have for your role more than your personal ability or value to the company.

Pros

Bettendorf Altorfer has a great team atmosphere of very dedicated employees. Benefit package is excellent. Love the early hours so I can spend the afternoon with my family. The training program is very in depth and ongoing throughout the year. Altorfer is willing to invest in their employees. Many 20+ years.

Cons

There's not alot of cons. You have to be able to work in weather, cold, heat, rain, etc.

flexibility with schedule is a pro!

Cons

no upward mobility in company, no growth within your department, bring up issues and then get picked apart, pay you based on Iowa cost of living even though we live in IL.
