- Tobacco industry is declining, so cost-cutting will only continue - Altria plays it too safe, always afraid of getting sued - Countless brand extensions that nobody wants. Not innovative enough - Altria outsources almost all IT, despite how much they rely on it. - A lot of people at HQ are full of themselves, not responsive to feedback - Altria's biggest opportunity is with advancement opportunities. There's no way to search internally for open positions in the field sales force or at HQ. Also, Altria is more interested in your willingness to relocate (not have a family) than your talent.
