Pros
Can't beat the salary and benefits. Much high that other CPG sales positions. Lots of vacation time and paid holidays. Company car, laptop, credit card, etc. Lots of freedom. Work from home and on somewhat of your own schedule.
Cons
No work life balance! Have to work at least 50-60 hours per week to just get the job done. Sales force is now selling for three companies and one person is asked to do the job of what three people used to do. Poor and untimely communication from headquarters. This is not really a sales job! More of a glorrified merchandising position. Often working in gas stations with uneducated and hard to deal with customers. Unrealistic expectations and deadlines.
