Pros

The employees, many of whom are incredibly talented and intelligent.

Cons

The company has grown too fast instead of slow and steady, which has resulted in a buggy product and a toxic work environment. Leadership doesn't prioritize the well-being of its employees, so morale is unacceptably low for a company that calls itself "Altruist." The CEO's lack of professionalism and respect is a significant issue. His consistent use of foul language, and the occasional offensive statement, creates a hostile work environment and undermines the company's values. HR's inability to address these concerns effectively is a clear indication of the company's poor management. On a recent all hands, he told the staff that they can leave if they're burned out. Isn't that interesting, coming from the guy who named the company Altruist? As others have mentioned, the performance review is abysmal at best. It is nearly impossible to get a promotion or raise, unless you're favored by leadership. Doesn't matter if you're burned out, doing the job of three employees, working ridiculous hours, and meeting deadlines. However, do not complain about how you feel because HR and leadership are quick to let people go instead of providing a solution. RTO wasn't a terrible idea, but the execution was. It's clear that this was done instead of a massive layoff, even though they assured everyone it wasn't. Think twice before applying to work at this company and save yourself the stress and mental anguish.
