Run and don’t look back - Senior Product Manager Altruist (CA) Employee Review

Not sure how they’re allowed to run like this. Was told during the offer stage that I would be eligible for a company performance bonus and never received. Company is not profitable so of course I won’t get the bonus, made me sacrifice base salary for this scam. They have also had multiple layoffs in the form of sudden forced RTO and traditional layoffs because this company is going nowhere. Just look up Jason Wenk and Altruist, all negative articles. Culture is awful and there are no performance review cycles. Bigger players in the market now vs 2023 (Robinhood, AI centric RIAs) this place won’t last much longer before getting acquired.
