      Pros

      Are there any? I don't know of any. It was a paycheck? I have to type 20 words here? There's no pros to even speak of except the one time the boss made pancakes and grilled cheeses for everyone in the office.

      Cons

      If you aren't part of the in-crowd then you won't go far. Office is very cliquey with managers having obvious biases and favorites. You can be right about things and still get in trouble just because you're not friends with the right person. Absolutely no objective problem-solving whatsoever. Unclear directions for many projects, leading to issues with final products and having to re-do many projects.

      Ever since McCallie was sold to the Alutiiq Corporation, McCallie Associates reputation in the defense industry has tanked. I reported to the President of the company as my direct report, and had next to NO interaction aside from approving my timesheets. No performance or feedback reviews. Just a butt in a seat that generates revenue. A prime contractor ceased doing business with them locally, and I was discharged when the contract expired on 30 April. They now have no contracts in the Omaha/Bellevue DoD space, that I know of. I'm fortunate to have found a job since then, but found out that I wasn't covered by the companies 1 month insurance at all, since they end coverage on the 30th of each month. Best advice - do NOT apply to this company. The former owner of the company (may he RIP) would be livid to see what's been done to the company he founded and its ruined reputation among DoD prime contractors.
