Consistent operations, but work can get mundane - Service Desk Technician AmTrust Employee Review

Everyone has been incredibly welcoming, supportive, and helpful. I've really enjoyed my internship experience at AmTrust so far. The company does a great job of taking care of its employees through team events, great benefits, PTO, and creating a positive work environment.

As an intern, I sometimes had to step outside my comfort zone and learn new tools quickly, which ultimately helped me grow.

Lots of holidays, the company observes jewish and federal ones

- aggressive push for AI optimization - intense micromanagement (all activity is monitored by AI, length and frequency of phone calls are tracked as well) - sudden RTO mandate after years of operating on a hybrid model. Top performers are leaving and the workload is becoming unmanageable due to staffing shortages - old software that constantly lags or freezes. All efforts to “update” the system seem solely focused on creating new AI tools that don’t address our day to day workflow
