Pros

- I set my caseload for what works best for me - I work with children - I can say yes or no to patients based on my staffing needs

Cons

-heavy favoritism for the office staff. -PTO, based on how long you’ve worked for the company but office staff gets twice the amount of hours than therapists do, and 3 extra days paid off a year -paid holidays, not a thing. You wanna get paid for a holiday, expect to work the holiday. So goodluck trying to see patients on Christmas or Thanksgiving. You can use your PTO but you only get like a week off after being with the company for 3 years

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad to hear that you value the flexibility in setting your caseload and the ability to work with a population you're passionate about. We also recognize your concerns around PTO and holiday structure, as well as the perception of imbalance between field and office staff. While our roles differ in function and structure, we agree that every position, including our therapists in the field, is essential to our mission and success. Your feedback helps guide ongoing conversations as we evaluate ways to improve fairness and transparency across all teams. We appreciate your dedication over the years and will continue striving to make Amazing Care a better place to work for everyone.

Pros

Close to the area I live

Cons

If you work for one of their big money maker clients, you will be expected to do things that are unsafe and/or not part of your job duties. You will be expected to take care of up to 5 total care trach/vent kids by yourself. If the other nurse has daycare problems and brings her own three kids to work with her so she doesn't miss a days work, you will be expected to help take care of her kids as well as your patients. You will be expected to help babysit other kids in the house who do not need nursing. If you raise concerns to Amazing Care about these situations, you are let go for not being a team player.
