Pros
Its typical warehouse work (dont expect typical warehouse pay though shoot for 4-6$ below that norm) 40-60 hours a week, 4-5 days on and 2-3 days off. They have AC. They have a parking lot. Its a job if you need one so desperately.
Cons
I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder near the end of my time with them (over a year). I had my first panic attack in their building and was told by AMCARE that it must have been something I ate LOL alright. They tell pregnant women to stay on their feet and keep picking NO exceptions. They will hire old people with canes and expect them to pick. If you have a medical concern they put you out of work INDEFINITELY so you just have to keep that to yourself if you need that job. I ended up taking their buy out which is one week in the beginning of the year. If youre hardcore you might duke it out for over a year like myself, but the majority of the workers are like water, come and go. Do not think this is the last job you'll apply to, no matter how hard you work its not enough for them. PAY: MAJOR ISSUES HERE!!! When I started I was called and given $12.00 an hour, I still recieve calls from them offering now a lower $11.00 an hour even though the CEO is the richest piece of scum ... Why the pay decrease if the company is oh so wonderful ? If youre at Amazon for college money its called a grant, or a scholarship, get one. Their career choice program is garbage only paying 95% UP TO $3,000 and you must major in something thats on their list (nothing good unless you want to be a truck driver or an HVAC guy) You guys have been warned. PS Target pays $13-$15 and treats you like a human being.
