Pros

Must be very self-driven to be able to get promoted through the network if you're planning on climbing the career ladder. Surrounded by many different minded yet intelligent individuals which helps build you as a leader. Overall the NIR role consists of counting "non" inventory items (Items not sold by amazon to customers such as packing tape, corrugate, envelopes and everything the building needs to function), receiving purchase orders, unloading trailers, pulling pallets, moving material around the building and assisting in supporting operations indirectly. The job can get physical as far as tier 3 leadership roles go, but if you enjoy moving around all day it's not too bad. Benefits are great, pay is decent compared to similar roles in other companies. Overall would recommend this company and job to peers

Cons

Long work hours, strenuous at times, challenging as far as balancing a happy medium between operations and procurement and safety teams. Pay capped after 3 years.

Pros

Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

Cons

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
