Pros
- sick leave is allowed and not questioned - nice colleagues generally - the job looks good on a CV
Cons
- highly repetitive tasks, which you’re expected to do for hours if not days at a time, as quickly as possible - constantly being tracked on your quality and speed, and if you miss weekly targets you have to write a report to say why, and how you’re going to improve - if you’re away from your computer for more than 5 minutes (eg for a coffee break) it logs you as not being there and you have to take that time from your lunch break or work longer at the end of the day - feedback and suggestions are rarely taken on board - no pay rises unless you’re promoted, even if you take on extra responsibilities. No bonuses either.
