Pros

*Entry-level which does not demand a B.A. or B.S. for consideration *Exposure to the same workload as your superiors mean that you well become just as, if not more technically proficient as your superiors *Tuition assistance now covers most colleges in the US.

Cons

*If you remain in the position for more than a year, you *will* grow outside of the scope of the job. You will find yourself bored and seeking a new challenge. *As with all large corporations, Amazon is inflexible in their policies. You will be the bearer of bad news to the hourly associates. *Amazon seems to have a preference for hiring external University grads as L4+ Area Managers who have no experience over internally-promoting Process Assistants. This is a company-level issue, and is not something that can be resolved by individual site leadership.

Pros

Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

Cons

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
