Pros

- Innovative Environment: Amazon is at the forefront of technology and innovation, which provides plenty of opportunities to work on cutting-edge projects. As a UX designer, I found it stimulating to be part of a team that values forward-thinking and creative solutions. - Growth Opportunities: The company offers many avenues for professional growth and learning. There are numerous internal resources and programs to help you upskill and advance your career. - Diverse Teams: Amazon's commitment to diversity means you'll collaborate with a wide range of talented individuals from various backgrounds, which can enrich your perspective and work.

Cons

- Work-Life Balance: The fast-paced nature of the company can sometimes make it challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Long hours are common, and the workload can be intense, especially during peak periods. - Bureaucracy: As with any large corporation, navigating through the layers of management and bureaucracy can be slow and occasionally frustrating. It can sometimes feel like decisions take longer than necessary to be implemented. - High Expectations: Amazon has high performance standards, which can be both a pro and a con. While it drives you to do your best, it can also be stressful if you're not prepared for the pace and expectations.

Pros

Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

Cons

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
