Pros

-Easy work (no brain work) -Easy to get hired (no interview, just a background check) -Good money (paid weekly!) -Independent Contractor (no taxes taken out of pay) -Work your own hours (great work/life balance) -Tips (although optional, tips can be nice) -No dress code (you can literally wear your pajamas to work) -Laid back (other than management yelling at everyone, the environment is pretty chill)

Cons

-Not steady income.. (scheduled delivery blocks (scheduled time to work) is not guaranteed on daily/hourly basis) -Most delivery blocks are scheduled on a first come first serve basis (thus it can be cut throat, as you are fighting with other drivers for a scheduled delivery block through the Amazon Flex app). -Part-time hours (most delivery blocks offered are 2 or 4 hours in length at a time) -Tips are optional and can be taken away based on a customer's dissatisfaction with their order and not necessarily with your delivery service) -Drivers are sometimes blamed by customer for incorrect or missing items (drivers don't package the orders, the fulfillment center employees do) -Independent Contractor (no benefits and you must pay taxes at the end of the year) -Very hard on your vehicle (a lot of street miles put on car). A lot of gas (there is a lot of commuting and stop and go, so don't apply if you have a gas guzzler). -Management (Where do I begin... A few are nice and laid back, others are on a supreme power trip! Also, you see a slight bit of favoritism shown but then again, you see that with many other companies). - Amazon Flex app (one of my biggest headaches) the app malfunctions A LOT!!! (The map will give you incorrect directions, having you in no mans land, it doesn't always allow you to mark yourself as "I have arrived" so that you can drop off your package(s), thus taking up time and ultimately making you late throughout your route, which by the way hurts your ratings with Amazon Flex. Also, the scanner function will glitch as if you did not scan your package, thus you will need to disturb the customer again to rescan an already delivered package) -Customer Support (can you say NO help?!) I believe they only help to inform the customer of a late delivery, other than that, they are really unhelpful. They will leave you hanging even when the customer is standing right in front of you with an incorrect/missing order. Not to mention, there seems to be an extreme lack of communication between the fulfillment center and customer support, as neither one seems to know what the other is doing.

Pros

Lots of routes available to drive using your own vehicle, both in early morning and in the evenings. Get paid the same day that you drive. Routes are usually pretty tight so you're not doing a lot of long distances between stops.

Cons

Low pay for the amount of miles you'll have to drive. You may average about 20-25 an hour, depending on how long of a block you sign up for. But you'll end up spending at least 1.5 hours pay to put back into your gas tank. You can't choose the area you want to drive in, it's chosen randomly for you. So you could be clear across five counties from the starting point.
