Pros

Nothing, this job is flat out Terrible

Cons

Would give this job a -10/10 First day working for amazon flex package delivery and already hate it. It was a 4 hr shift with 61 packages that needed to be delivered. Take into count that you have to scan all 61 packages, load them up and when delivering rescan the package and deliver it. Lots of wear and tears to the car Stopping every other block, putting car on brake, taking off seat belt and finding a package in your car is a big hassle and might cause damage to your car due to moving the paddle shifters for more than 100 times within the 61 deleveries. Note that they are only paying $18/hr for this crap. And if you work for amazon prime they are paying $18/hr plus tips with around 2-3 deleveries per hour here in Seattle. In 4 hours that's 12 food deliveries compared to 61 package deleveries.

Pros

Lots of routes available to drive using your own vehicle, both in early morning and in the evenings. Get paid the same day that you drive. Routes are usually pretty tight so you're not doing a lot of long distances between stops.

Cons

Low pay for the amount of miles you'll have to drive. You may average about 20-25 an hour, depending on how long of a block you sign up for. But you'll end up spending at least 1.5 hours pay to put back into your gas tank. You can't choose the area you want to drive in, it's chosen randomly for you. So you could be clear across five counties from the starting point.
