Had a narcissistic manager that saw me as a threat and completely exaggerated my “lack of performance”, gaslit me and eventually put me on a PIP. He did nothing to try and help me with the difficulties of being onboarded as a 100% remote employee and I eventually lost all motivation to even try and focused on getting out. All he cared about was his team executing with as little work required from him as possible. Very toxic environment. I should have listened to the warning signs.
