Pros
Industry leading technology and *incredible* company culture. It’s easy to understand why Amazon and AWS in particular continue to grow. The pace is pretty intense. That’s mitigated to a large extent by a “we’re all in this together” mentality. SA’s are highly sought after. Egos are left outside, which is a refreshing change from other tech companies. Leadership is vocally self-critical, listens, and responds. So many healthy things about this place.
Cons
The pace can be challenging. From what I’ve seen people do respect your out of office time, but the standards are so hi that many don’t respect their own and burn themselves out.
