Pros
Opportunity to work alongside some very talented people, excellent structured 'onboarding' training for 3 months for new hires. 'Day 1' culture is very positive, people supportive and generous with their time. Massive opportunities for learning and personal/ technical growth with internal knowledge sharing and training material - videos, workshop/tutorials, blogs etc. Having personal responsibility vs being micro-managed.
Cons
Lengthy and thorough interviewing process requires careful preparation. Mine was 2x 1h screening interviews and then a loop of 5x 1h sessions over 10 weeks. After onboarding, learning to ramp up and 'drinking from the fire-hose' of work coming your way. Ruthless prioritisation and time management required to keep on top of the work demands, always more work than time available. Managing work/life balance is key to longevity.
