Pros
- Support engineering teams can still work from home. - You work with smart people.
Cons
- There are so many automated tools to micro manage your every second. - Teams are kept under head count and engineers are pressured to fill the short coming. - Low time off allowance, and difficult to get approval even for that. - Extremely stressful environment. It's a customer facing job, and they are usually stressed out. - It's against the interest of managers to promote you beyond CSE-II. Managers only want case resolves.
