      Pros

      Smart and motivated people. Compensation was great, especially RSUs when stock doubled in a year. Technology is great. Most offices are nice and environment is good.

      Cons

      Too much middle management, the bureaucracy was expanding to meet the needs of the expanding bureaucracy. Culture was OK when I started in 2021, but in the second half of 2023, it started to decline. Upper leadership is hypocritical and ruined a culture in order to make people quip and evade mass layoffs for bad press. I am glad for experience and growth, but I would never work for AWS again.

      Pros

      Excellent pay/benefits, Safety first mindset, flexible scheduling, fantastic training program, phenomenal team support, convenient locations. Plenty of pathways for career advancement and full support for self promotion. Culture is fantastic. You really can be yourself and make many new friends fast. Teamwork is outstanding. Everyone is always willing to help.

      Cons

      Growing so fast that it's hard to keep the same manager. I've had four managers in two months. Constantly have to adapt to new procedures and changes and working locations. Always in a state of flux. Standards keep changing all the time
