Pros
Breadth of experience - you'll be thrown into the deep end of the pool often. Very sink or swim culture which means that you get quite a bit of exposure and opportunities to learn.
Cons
Constant reorgs, little to no mentorship, highly political promotion process, etc. WLB is team dependent but on the AWS side, expect to be quite busy on average. There's a constant sense that everything is an emergency; not helpful that it's normalized by many managers. There are definitely some diamonds in the rough but your stability and pressures are overwhelmingly driven by manager personality.
