Poor Management Toxic Culture - IT Application Specialist Amcor Employee Review

Poor management. I was brought in away from a comfortable role with a good company to Amcor with the promises of further development and a generous salary and bonus. None of the promises that were made to me were fulfilled, the manager of the team was conveniently hands off the application we used and didn't understand the scope of the application. The team did not work as a team and instead worked in silo's making it incredibly difficult for a new starter to have any sense of direction. The American (US based members of team) side of the business is incredibly toxic. With team members with holding information deliberately, making rude and condescending remarks as well creating a 'Me First' culture as opposed to a team oriented culture. The salary will tempt you in but this is not a good environment to work in if you value your mental health.
