A lot of the work is remote, but many teams lack a good culture for it. You have to spend the majority of your time in the office regardless of where your team is, certain coworkers get by with doing almost literally nothing, others have a hard time getting up to speed, and the team as a whole can lack camaraderie due to only having face-to-face time during business-related meetings.
The company unfortunately went downhill after being sold in 2017.
The startup culture turned corporate, leadership left without being sufficiently replaced, promotions slowed, and the direction of the company became unclear. Now, most of the people who used to make the firm special have moved on.
