      Pros

      The company is very strong financially so therefore able to weather downturns and inject cash when needed.

      Cons

      Little career growth for those who would like to remain technical. Highly bureaucratic so getting anything achieved has to pass through many layers of management. Little empowerment with any decision having to pass through those above you.

      lots of free programs available i.e. weekly virtual yoga/cooking/personal finance/wellbeing classes

      Cons

      constantly under threat of layoffs, mostly contract work for other Telecommunications companies which are increasingly turning to competitors for opportunities
