Pros
- Great co-workers: Very nice people which I'm very happy to have worked side-by-side daily - High-quality codebase: thorough code reviews, very high coding standards (only on my team. others were horrible) - Well-established working standards: starting for architects high-level, but detailed, solution (HLS) doing to TDD (technical design) to design-phase, and then to the developers. Sometimes it's the other way around... - The pressure isn't high, and don't expect to work for long hours. Sometimes there are even gaps with whole days pass with no tasks but ones you make up for yourself. - Amazing lunch cafeteria (not free but subsidised ) only in Raanana's offices.
Cons
Very mediocre management layer consisting of people who have been working there for a very long time and have outdated management philosophy. I would also very much say cold attitude toward their workforce. Managers are constantly whispering between themselves and reveal nothing to the works - and if they do, it's after a big delay of weeks or months. Management claims it's a workplace with stability but there has been a lot of firing of thousands of people since 2020. A lot. "Vacation without limits, when ever" slogan is a scam. it's capped and all requests must be filed way before the vacation-date and if it's for more than a few days upper-management has to approve. Which is basically nerve-wrecking and they make you feel bad for asking. Tasks can vary but many are extremely boring and aren't new development of features but digging into bugs only god knows how to solve. They pay VERY low compared to other companies. No options and no bonuses. if you're lucky you'll get a pay raise of nothing and a half. They give 20 shekels birthday voucher. Barely or none senior developers work there The offices in Raanana are open-space where each floor has no balcony, and tiny cafeteria with not much there at all
