Pros

Great team members, stability due to healthcare setting, and remote recruitment setting.

Cons

The culture that once was, is crumbling. The leadership team believes you should shut up, sit down, and do what you’re told. You either agree or suffer the consequences. Unfair and even sexist hiring practices are consistent within the team that is supposed to uphold them for an organization. Promoting TA employees , even when they didn’t meet the requirements, and were not eligible to transfer into the roles. Adding layer, and layer of administrative tasks, without any feedback or buy in from recruiters, because it’s not welcomed or valued. Stating it’s all for quality, when quality is so much more then filling out forms 100%. Showing consistent favoritism to certain groups of the team, and not caring how demoralizing that can be for the other recruiters. In secret many describe the situation as a tyranical. They are choosing to ignore how disengaged the team really is. Metrics and productivity standards that are laughable, as you get docked points for petty reasons, and put on plans even when there are zero tools to recruit. Although fills have gone up, it’s simply because they have doubled the team in less than one year. What’s sad is, since the team is posting hires, the executive leadership turns a blind eye to this disturbing leadership style, and disenchantment. If you are a recruiter thinking of joining this team think long and hard about it. Reach out to current recruiters to see what your reality will ultimately be. They are on the brink of unethical practices, be weary of standing behind this.

Pros

- I love being able to make my own schedule and see patients on my own time. - I love the care center hospice team that I work with. My DOO (Director of Operations) is very kind, a team player, and encourages the team to be their best. - Insurance benefits are also a plus (Blue Cross/Blue Sheild).

Cons

- I don't enjoy having to drive around and to far distances to see patients. Also, don't enjoy when patients and family members cancel visits because I won't get paid unless I make the visit. - Upper management doesn't care about the well-being of the local care center employees. Upper management puts to much stress on the DOO for stats and productivity quotas. - Upper management is cheap and doesn't contribute money to celebrate their employees like with a Christmas party (local care centers have to bring pot-luck style food and throw their own Christmas parties).
