Stay Away! - Delivery Coordinator AmeriGas Employee Review

Pros

You develop a battlefield comraderie with your peers.

Cons

Highest levels of management have no concept of the ground floor operations. Extremely toxic positivity. Working hard will get you one reward - other people's work. The raise scale is on a 1-5 but it's impossible to get above a 3 and that score determines your percentage raise. No bonuses. OT, so much OT, because leadership can't get their heads around the fact they are assigning the work of 2-3 people per coordinator. Want to take a day off? You have to beg your overworked peers to cover for you or *it will be denied*. That's right, you have to find your own coverage, and someone else who is already overworked has to take over your duties, as well as their own! The fleet is ancient by delivery standards and is either broken, breaking down, or being babied along until another truck comes out of the garage. They tell you to run weekends and then don't budget for those drivers, so you get slammed from all sides. (Why aren't you running? We're not budgeted. Deliver these anyway. With what driver??) Customers are fleeing from all sides and everything is a state of panic. The systems are broken. They often crash (the main delivery program has gotten slightly more stable). Imagine trying to do your work, and being asked why you aren't doing your work, when the thing literally won't boot up. There is no planning ahead, just impossible goals and "Go Team!" every single DC meeting. As the headline says - STAY AWAY!
